How have you gained knowledge or continued your education after high school? Emergency Management Institute, Emmitsburg, MD and University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
What special interests and/or activities have you enjoyed during the last half century? I love art, especially trying to draw and paint wildlife.
Please share the highlights of the places you've lived or traveled I have been fortunate to travel throughout the United States, Canada and Guam. I have lived in California, Nevada, Texas, Massachusetts, Illinois, Ohio, Nebraska, and Washington and each location holds untold beauty and richness.
What is your favorite AHS Memory? When I think of high school I remember the great friends, gathering at lunch time in the cafeteria, the pep rallies and the football games.
How do you spend your quality time? With family and painting/drawing.
In your life thus far, what stands out as most significant, growth-producing, moving, or heart-opening? The spirit of humans even when faced with disasters. During my career with emergency management I worked many disasters and saw first hand the determination, strength and courage of people. I was humbled by the unselfishness and love displayed by people who had lost everything and suffered so greatly.
What matters most to you about the life you've lived? Family, people, wildlife and our environment.
