In your life thus far, what stands out as most significant, growth-producing, moving, or heart-opening? The closer I get to the Divine within me or experience Divinity in others, the more I realize who I/we truly are. There has been nothing more moving, growing, heart-opening or significant than my own Awareness of my (True) Self, and that very same beautiful Self in all others... the Oneness we share.
What matters most to you about the life you've lived? I am getting closer to KNOWING WHO I AM. I am at last beginning to grok the Truth about loving. The Beatles nailed it: Love is all you need.
As you move forward into the future, what are your aspirations, hopes, dreams? My husband and I hope to live in a very small community of like-minded spiritual seekers on the North Coast of California or Southern Oregon in a river valley basin growing our own food, living quietly and peacefully, in deep spiritual practice.
What do you still hope to accomplish or experience? (What's left on your bucket list?) I care deeply about Planet Earth and the Environment. About a good life for EVERYONE. I do what I can to promote peaceful and positive social and environmental change...I have faith and hope the world is Awakening to a better way of living so ALL living beings will enjoy well-being. Travel dreams. Family trip to Iceland Fall 2014 (Aurora Borealis), Machu Picchu, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Valley of Flowers (Himalayas).
What else would you like to share about yourself? My motivation in Chairing our 50th Class Reunion was to work with others choosing to make this event one of great inclusion, love, joy...allowing the opportunity for each attending to have an experience they would truly cherish and find both inspiring and solacing in the remaining years of our lives. Lorna and I (along with an amazing team) focused on EACH classmate having the opportunity to attend if they desired...and each to feel special, loved, important. I truly believe each of us is very significant in the WHOLE of the AHS Class of 1964. I and our Committee are open to any suggestions to assist the manifestation of this inclusive, warm, and joyful experience at the Reunion.
