Question Answer
Your name Diane Ruth Toohey (Stevens)
Current occupation Semi-retired
What would you like to share about yourself? I married in March of 1964, and we had three children: James Jr., Erik, and Christine. We divorced in 1981.

In 1969, I graduated from Dental College. I worked in the dental lab for 40 years and never missed a day.

I met Steve Stevens in 1980, and we married in 1982. He had three sons. Christine and his youngest son, Shawn, were close in age. We took the kids on trips to Hawaii, Disneyland, and such.

In 1985, my 13-year-old daughter, Christine, died from Cystic Fibrosis, and I separated from Steve. Seeing Shawn was a constant reminder. We divorced in 2002, but I thought we would remarry.

In 2012, we met to resolve some property and talked for four hours. Steve passed away last August.

Today I'm single. I have two sons and 7 grandkids and one great-grandson, Seth.

I'm semi-retired and work for Visiting Angels as a caregiver to the elderly. God continues to be my best friend. He strengthens me and guides me.
