Describe your family/extended family My wife and I have a son Patrick and a daughter Julie and 4 grandchildren, ages 15, 14, 11 and 9
What special interests and/or activities have you enjoyed during the last half century? Golfing, bowling and for the past 16 years I have embraced fly-fishing here in the Northwest. I have volunteered twice a week at the Mount Vernon City Library for the last 15 years. I have served five years as a trustee on the Library Board and am currently the Treasurer for the Mount Vernon City Library Foundation, which is in the process of raising funds for the construction of a new city library.
Please share the highlights of the places you've lived or traveled Since my wife and I have cruised quite a bit, seeing the various ports of call and points of interest comes to mind. I have climbed a Mayan pyramid, jumped off a waterfall on Kauai, and slipped and fell into the toe of a glacier in British Columbia.
What are your favorite books or movies? Favorite movie is “Godfather”. Favorite authors are John Jakes, James Michener, Larry McMurtry, James Patterson, Michael Connelly and John Sandford.
What were your favorite songs or artists from 1960 to 1964. What genre of music and type of dance do you enjoy most? Favorite artists were the Beach Boys and Jan & Dean. I now listen mostly to 60’s music on Sirius XM and Country/Western.
How do you spend your quality time? Picnicking on the shores of Puget Sound with my wife and fishing the local lakes and Skagit River with my brother, Gordie.
